A Vast and Humble Abode: Introducing Group Work (and Play!) for the Body-mind
It is with delight and anticipation that I announce the launch of my private practice as a somatic counselor. A somatic counselor is someone who invites the whole person, breath, gesture, posture, and play, into the transformative collaboration.
A Vast and Humble Abode is a portable headquarters for the intersection of movement, imagination, and transformation, rich in cultural forms that reflect the heritage of practitioners and places value on community as collaborative.
Join Sarah and co-facilitator Whitney Waterbury, Authentic Relating facilitator, for a round of inaugural group practices!
Share the pleasure and risk of your true colors emerging.
Are you someone with a deep well who sometimes contracts in the presence of others? Or are you outgoing in a way that sometimes denies your vulnerability?
Do you wonder what would happen if the pinky toe you've dipped into embodied self-expression went in for a fuller swim?
Does your practice of movement exploration ask for new vistas of active imagination to carry you towards your next evolution as you?
This practice will give individual participants an opportunity to experience and explore the fullness of their personal experience through and as movement that is supported by the group.
Facilitated by Sarah Ledbetter, MS, ERYT and SomEx Level 4 practitioner, and cofacilitated by Whitney Waterbury, Authentic Relating practitioner.
